Blondey Superstar

adidas Skateboarding present an iconic adidas mainstay with an upgraded look by Blondey McCoy. These adidas Superstar shoes have a black tinted TPU upper and a slightly softer rubber outsole for improved grip. The rubber shell toe flashes heritage style.

“The Superstar — of all Adidas shoes — is, I think, the one that has been reinterpreted and re-appropriated the most… so much so, that, to me, it has come to represent the notion of re-appropriation itself. It would be great to re-appropriate a shoe for the very first time, like Mark Gonzales did with the Aloha (originally a fencing shoe), but I have always wanted to do a Superstar project and I’m very proud that this project is the first of what I hope will be many, between Adidas and me.” – Blondey McCoy.
